might want to check before buying a house. Here are a number of
suggestions you should consider before finally burning that big hole in your wallet.
The first thing you could do is to ask around the neighborhood before you buy. You might get a shock after listening to what they say. A neighborhood might tell you in detail and every problem they know about the house. You might even get a clue not really concerning to the house itself but with the neighborhood in general. This might contain a few things.
Always ask about the following:
You might think of other questions to ask about. Speak with
several other neighbours. You
might even get to know everything if you happen to find a local gossip. Check that you write down that
representations that owner makes to you about the house, it might be
useful at a later time, particularly if there are big undisclosed problems with it.
Search on the Internet
Find the name of the homeowner and see if anything interesting comes up. For example if there is something suspicious or untrustworthy you might want to find out. In this way, you can see if they are legitimate.
Get the title search done
Your real estate agent will be able to handle that, this is a must. Hire a handyman to check the house you are not sure about certain things in the house. Or perhaps you can get a friend that you trust to look around the house. It won't really take much to check that your house will become a good investment.
